We have to check sequence of operation. see the selector switch all are in Auto. check the gen Set ACB is not having Trip, check and clear all faults in Generator control panel, check if their is under voltage fault, check the battery voltage. importantly to check main ACB to Gen ACB Transfer relay time set etc.,
ATS system not working ( should be send signal to Generator to switch on).

Firstly you have to check if the battery is not flat, if it is ok, proceed to check main switch if it is not tripped, then check if the generator is set to automatic operation or manuual. you need to check also the fuel level if it is in empty or not.
The cause of the machine fails to start negative is;1. Accu voltage is weak or below normal,2. There is air on the fuel line,3. The circulation of lubricating oil is not smooth.
1. faulty wiring from ats to genset.
2. low dc battery
3. switch not in automatic selection
4. contactor relay not energize or energize
5. mcb on trip mode
It necessary to check all faults are clear, check the sequence of operations for start-up.
Check the control panel of all breakers are working, check supply voltage,check fuel level.
short circuit or mechanical problem

mechanical issue
Electronic issue
battery failure, low coolant levels, low coolant temp alam, oil fuel coolant leaks, control is not auto, air in the fuel system
If this fail to start happend before ignition usually the problem was on the starter system , where it could be that the starter it self or maybe the motor starter or turbine starter (if se use pneumatic starter) .
If this fail to start happend after ignition the usually the problem is the fuel system . Could be the fuel solenoif valve was jammed, the fuel regulator had problem or meybe the setting of fuel control system.
