How would one define "GCC experience" and how is that working experience different from working anywhere else in the business world?

Having experience from any of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). which was formed in 1981 to integrate six Gulf countries of similar political, social, and economic systems.If you have any of the below countries experience, will be considered to apply jobs in any of the Arab world / countries.-United Arab Emirates- Bahrain- Saudi Arabia- Oman- Qatar- Kuwait

In sales and marketing, it is market specific experience that pays off immediately on the job when you are hired, but certainly there is added value from candidates who worked in more sophisticated markets, if the experience is required in GCC. In finance it should be related to understanding local taxation regulations and ways to reduce government fees. In logistics and governmental roles it is all about who you know and ways and local rates and prices. In cars industry it is pure sales skills and language. In oil no clue. 

From my experience, it is exaggerated and well experienced candidates can do the same role in creative and successful way wherever they are. They just need the chance and responsible handover.
