There is a big difference between problem fixing and problem solving. Fixing a problem eliminates the symptoms, not necessarily the root cause?

In Simple words fixing is for temporary solution while solving is for permanant solution.

Indeed true, fixing may be a temporary one but may not be a permanent solution to the problem. Problem solving is suppose to be getting into the root cause to the issue and correcting it as a permanent solution. My 2 cents. Thanks.
