i currently work in a wonderfully multicultural enviroment here in the UK , we share and enjoy each others festivities we have open discussions and respect persons values traditions and views. we do not segregate or prefere one type of person over another.  male female english punjabi hindi muslim black asain what ever we just get on with the common task and be the best at what we do .

be relaxed and dont make multi culture an obstacle  the manager should be diverse in thier aproach and challenge any inapropriate behaviour. also making sure staff feel that they are supported and not ridiculed if they should report such instances.

open team meetings and group activities help build strong understanding of each other.

i love working in a mutli cultural enviroment. and with everyone onboard it creates a rich, diverse and wonderfully skilled team that can apreciate values ethics and develop new working practices.

just chill out, be open be receptive and engage .. the rest will follow

The answer is simple yet complex.
The real motivator, the best and most effective of all times is "Inspiration".
Unless a manager has the charisma to be inspirational to his working team, they will face constant demotivating constraints.
Money, promotions, titles, parties, awards and the like are essential and effective, but temporary.
The only permanent tool to keep your teams up to your and their expectations and self esteem is INSPIRATION.
