How does "Get Satisfaction" avoid angering Companies When negative comments appear on the site?

Websites should encourage honest and open communication between companies and their clients, as that's the point of starting up a feedback loop.

If company should work specifically on that purpose which should be customer satisfaction based or what the User wants from them, I believe there would be no room for the negative comments on their website.
Secondly, website should work on that purpose where peoples not only see them for Branding purpose but a true Community where peoples even their competitors would love to share their feedback openly with them & use to engage with them.
