I have experieced this before but with a minimal limit of regret. I overcame it, as Chapman mentioned earlier, by exploring further opportunities, fully submitting that all our providences are in the hands of God. It did work and I am sure that all those who have experienced the same before will make it also.
Leaving a great job in the middle east and returning to the UK because of a disagreement with a contract. I should have sat it out and enjoyed the sunshine and culture. I have overcome this by keeping in contacts with my links in this area. I have no desire to to keep regreting, I only look forward to further opportunities and have great memories
Everyone has his own regrets. You can avoid drowning in self-pity by always having alternatives plans, and to overcome them you may practice your hobbies, running is usually the best way to overcoe frustration.
