To me, every text editor that doesn't pop-up indentation error is a good editor.
and Amongst all I prefer Sublime, as it auto adjusts the indentation, multiple executions are done with ease and looks a bit colorful too.
Netbeans .. i think it's simply and have all plugins you want and friendly
Visual studio code as it's free , it's hackable, it has lots of different plugins for look like themes and icons , productivity like itegrated terminal and language packages , integration with github and even a debugger it's all you need for any programming language in 1 place

i started with notepad++ and after that i used adobe dreamweaver and sublime text; but the most interesting one to me is notepad++ so i prefere it the most
