I do agree on this. Being prepared is something that you always need to be at when you work with negotiation because this is the first key of success when negotiating with others.

When it comes to a business negotiation, there will be elements which are negotiable and there are elements which are non-negotiable and there will also be elements which can be compromised and non compromisable depending on your desired results, when it comes to a point, that the second party wants negotiate on your non-negotiable elements and wants you to compromise on your non compromisable elements it is always better to walk away as it will lead to a win lose situation.
