A service that I dont believe in should not be sold at all. And if ever I am compelled to do so, I should first find out the details about the product, its merits, demerits and impacts. And then, I should make the customers aware about it or should include the details in the product's description.
Yuo have first to Advertise it and explain the all details to the customer in need

I can not sell a product to the clientel which I do not believe is not good for the image of society
i will suggest the customer for alternate product of good quality explaining him that this is better for maintaince and quality,, if the customer insists the product which i dont believe ill explain him the cons prior only and sell the product to him
In my personal opinion I will not sell a product/ service which I dont trust. one must understand that it is not selling but retaining the customer is utmost important. also if you are not sure/ trust on your product / service you need to lie a lot to the end user.
you just get the attitude that you do believe in, adaptability and flexibility are some of the skills you must have to be able to sale
