Making sure you do what is right for the company, try to please your boss but not so much that if your views differ you are never afraid to speak up.  Be smart, be punctual, be polite and respectful to everyone. Never argue in front of your customers or collegue.  Always smile and do your work with enthusiasm.  Always say hello and goodbye and always be willing to help others.

Every job I have every had has been an enjoyable experience because of these values.  If you are unhappy at work it will show and you will not progress as fast as those who are happy

Though, the journey is still in progress but so far what I have learnt is that, one must be technically sound in his/her field and must have appropriate education in respective field. Secondly, never reply on your academics, be aware of latest trend and development in your field and keep yourself update as this increase your worth and you have competitive advantage on other. Thirdly, do bring and share practical solutions to your boss/business. Most of the time we just focus on solution without evaluating its practicality i.e. cost wise, audience wise and other factors. Last but not the least; do work on communication skills, all of our talent will be in dark until we are not able to communicate well and confidently.

Above are few one which I consider in my career, though there are others also, will share it and yes keep on Gaining & Sharing the Knowledge.
