Is atl really dead?

Time and budget constraints do not allow much room for ATL campaigns anymore. What is your view on this statement?

Thank you Yvan for inviting me to post my comment.

I believe tha increasing usage of Internet has added life to the ATL activity & i don't thing ATL is actually dead, we may say its on the decling stage.

Sorry Mohamad i dont believe ATL is dead for Luxary brand or VIPs. This is can say because the audience who is using these product or services are also exposed to one or the other form of ATL activities. Its all about selecting the correct media vehicle.

For example, for a Luxary product i believe we are looking forward for an individual who has high disposible income & we can find such audience on travel related shows to name some. Internet advertising is very handy in this case as we can easily get a data that what kind of audience is comming on which portal & this will help in planning our ATL activity strongly.

" Out of sight is out of Mind" so its necessary for brand to create a recall among the TG they cater to.

Thank you dear Yvan for inviting me for this

it's long since we talk lately :)

Regard your question I think it's depend about the brand you have, the srvices you are providing, and for sure the level of your audience.

it will be really dead if you do it for luxury brand or if you are looking for VIPs.

but incase you have kinds of constraints goods "for example"...it will be even important for some of ATL campaigns.

Best Regards
