Which is the best software for quantity surveying..?

The quantity surveying cannot be confined to a specific software because of the vast scope of the quantity surveying. We can use the Ms Excel for the tabulation since it is highly versatile for numerical operations and formatting. To extract the measurement from the drawing if it is DWG file we can use AutoCAD or any other CAD software. if the drawing is in PDF format, then we need to use Planswift. Planswift is a software which helps us to take measurements such as length area and perimeter and it also gives output in the excel format directly from the PDF drawing. I agree there is a lot of quantity surveying software available in the market but still, the Ms Excel remains the best option.
