Hey EmrAan, Obviously, finding the jobs on Bayt is a great way to find out who is hiring, but there's a lot more you can do to maximize your chances of landing that new job.
On a day to day basis, I see people going through the job postings clicking "apply apply apply apply" on every job and this is an extremely ineffective way of searching for a new role.
Just one thoughtful application is way more effective than randomly clicking "apply" on 20 jobs.
Below are some tips: Firstly.
What you need to do is tailor your CV to highlight the relevant career experience for the job you're applying for.
In Bayt, you have the functionality to add multiple CVs, so if your expertise lies in Retail and Accounting, have two CVs - one to apply to accounting jobs with, with all your relevant experience, and another CV to apply for retail vacancies with.
Secondly, so many job-seekers don't bother to put a cover letter with their CV and this is a cardinal sin! Why would a prospective employer bother to employ you if you can't be bothered to write why you would be the perfect candidate for that organization? The Middle East is one of the most competitive job markets on the planet, and it's not uncommon for over 1,000 applicants to apply for a single posting on Bayt? What makes YOU the one for this job? You have to sell yourself and just clicking "apply" will not do this.
Thirdly, read the job description carefully.
On regular occasions I will get job-seekers complaining to me about not being shortlisted for particular jobs and 99% of the time it's because they've either not done any of the first two points or they have not read the prerequisites of the job in hand.
If an advert says that Arabic speaking is mandatory - then don't apply if you don't speak Arabic.
All you are doing is wasting your time and the employers time.
Be smart in applying the jobs that suit your experience and skills.
Finally, think outside the box! If you've done the first two points and you meet the prerequisites then you're probably going to be in the top 5% of applicants.
But out of a thousand applicants, this would mean there's probably still 50 people to choose from so what makes you better or stand out from the other applicants? I'm not going to give you different ideas as I'm sure you can think of your own, but a handwritten letter to an HR Manager you'd researched online or something along those lines will not harm your chances at all.
I wish you the best of luck it your hunt for a new job :) Dan.

You have to do the following :
1- Depend on god and trust his blessing in all your efforts.

2- Write a professional c.v that would make it competitive and attract employers to read.

3- Keep clicking update bottom on your profile at bayt.com So that your c.v should appear in the first search page for the employers when they browsing the C.Vs.

4- Following up the new jobs either recommended by bayt.com or posted in your targeted criteria.

5- Get gulfnews newspaper early morning at 3-4 am and apply for the suitable jobs, after 8 or 9 am no need to apply.
Most of the senior managers come early morning and ask the secretary to print the first 10 - 15 recieved C.Vs and then select from them .
Therefore , its better to secure your C.V in those 15 and receive the calls on the same day.

If you haven't received a single positive response, then there may be a problem with your CV / cover letter.
Try to rewrite them more professionally, highlighting your skills and experience relevant to the job your applying to.
