First check thoroughly the fixed prosthesis (bridge) and abutment tooth that gives these inferences:

1. retainer is clean with out old cement-

TREATMENT:

A. RECEMENT ALL THE RETAINERS AFTER CORRECTING THE OCCLUSAL HIGH POINTS IF ANY.

B. IF CEMENT SPACE IS FOUND MORE THAN REQUIRED THEN CONSIDER TO REDO THE PROSTHESIS WITH CLOSEFIT SPACE.

2. dentin of the abutment is softer or found with secondary caries
