Basically you need to have the public aware that you are opening and for that you need to have press release before that, usually 30-45 days is a good time window, although some businesses in retail prefer a 2 week period. Another release on the day the business has launched and you need to send out a press release for that. After that whenever there is a new event or somethinh that you want to share with your customer base and want to conver new customers you can send out further press releases. Just make sure you do not over do it as the attention span of the people can be quite low and very frequent releases can make people ignore them unless they are constantly engaged with your business.
This depends on the actual TIME you are ready to attend customers.
Once you know that date, you need to start releasing relevant PRESS a week earlier, and never stop until you reach that date.
You need to prepare for it though; meaning, your set-up needs be arranged by all means; in terms of Manpower, Product, Delivery and Handing over... etc.
You need to advertise in a shrewed business manner during that full week; aiming to create curiosity, interest and eagerness within the public on your EVENT DATE...
If you operate with a big Organization that can bare expense budget with no hick ups, then such press releases can be made earlier for the purpose of reaching to BIGGER number of people amongst the public. Televesion is an excellent example... etc.
Well said by Fatma El Zahraa Khalil. Agreed with her thought!
it's a three steps process
before the official launching
on the day of the official launcing
another one after the official launching
