In a hypothetical scenario, I worked with a team of data analysts who were responsible for developing a predictive analytics model to improve customer retention for a client. We set an ambitious goal of achieving a 10% improvement in customer retention rates within six months. To achieve this goal, we identified key data sources, developed and tested multiple predictive models, and fine-tuned the final model based on the results. We also worked with the client's marketing team to implement targeted retention strategies based on the model's predictions. After six months, we analyzed the results and found that the customer retention rate had improved by 12%, exceeding our ambitious goal. The client was thrilled with the results, and we received positive feedback for our hard work and dedication to achieving the goal. Overall, it was a rewarding experience to work with a motivated team to achieve an ambitious goal and exceed expectations.

The Year 1993 when I first received my parents approval to go the Middle East to work and earn my pay packet.  I looked in the newspapers The Times of India for a job and applied to many companies, received no interview calls so I did not give up and tried again by applying for global companies for a management position to the Director (Commercial) and Inventory for the United Arab Emirates.  This time round it was different because having the experience of applying 6 months before gave me a lesson in applications for foreign jobs.  I received a call to come for an interview in November first week and I was so glad and called them back to accept the date for the interview.  Now, I had to prepare myself practically and physically to win over the team of interviewing panel of three as each asked different questions depending on my Curriculum Vitae and the job roles therein.  This was getting so tricky but I managed to make it for the interview and met the receptionist who smiled and asked me my name and directed me to sit down for a few minutes.  I got out my Curriculum Vitae and my folder adjusting my skirt and blouse and counting till ten to remain calm right through.  She called me and I followed her into the conference room which was beautifully lit up and decor was splendid.  The three interviewers very observant watched me for my manners and I greeted them with a smile as they asked me to sit down.  Each had a copy of my Curriculum vitae and some sheets for assessment purposes.  I was asked one question per round by each of them and they marked me with a tick or a cross.  They also wrote  a comment against the last column.  In all there was 5 questions by each of them and a practical session for State of the art equipment used in offices and the telephone too with a board for transfering calls.  I completed all these in a time frame basis and was escorted out of the conference room by the receptionist.  Once again to sit in the lounge for few minutes till a decision was made for recruitment.

In the meantime, I looked around the lounge which had many plants and a fish tank.  I liked the plaques on the wall and they were wll arranged.  I put all my things in my carry case and relaxed reading a magazine.

Soon the receptionist called me and asked me to follow her to the Human resources chamber where I was ccongratulated for winning the position as an Executive Secretary and Co-ordinator to the Director for the Commercial office.

I thanked them and was overjoyed.  They took my documents and made copies returned the orignals to me (these were for the Visa to the Middle East).  I was asked to get ready to travel in three weeks time.  It did happen and I celebrated my birthday in the Middle East, Dubai(UAE).  Five years over and I continued in my position, happy with my job and returning on holidays to see my parents every year.

This was a great opportunity and I was given a promotion on my return from my holiday in the sixth year to the Inventory and Commercial which was a huge responsibility.  I took it and performed my job role to their satisfaction.  I also set out a program for the ship proformas Invoices for foreign ordering of patents parts Internationally. And for filing documents for the company by number say 001 to 500 which my team managed by the computer system and the click of a button.  These were great moments in my life when I could see my career progress within the five year span of work in the Marine business with different boats and over 500 of them also a Gallagher Crane operation company the same I worked for and which I enjoyed so much.  Overhead cranes are magical and mysterious and the operators are very talented too.

After working in the Middle East, Dubai(UAE), I applied for a Sultan Qaboos University Hospital job for the Deputy Director(Accouts, Admin and Budget) and his Directorate in Sultanate of Oman, Muscat as a Co-ordinator and I had a very responsible job cordinating with five college department and 7 office departments.  We had a team of 5 staff which I delegated responsibilities to on a daily routine and took personally to the His Highness the President all letters for signature from our department as our department was the main one below the HH The President.  I had to be very careful with everything that went out from our department and it had to be accurate always.  Our Team was the best and still is as I can see it from where I am now in the United Kingdom-the SQUH (a 500 bed training hospital) stands out from the rest with superb performance from every staff.  I continued for the SQUH for a few more years and left for the United States of America where I had my own 24/7 Childcare Company and enjoyed managing my life and helping single mothers in the USA with their children for many years finally coming into the United Kingdom and settling down, today I have my own Pet care 24/7 for animals dogs (medium and small breeds) and work in Health Care as a Health Care Assistant (Nursing) in a Care Home and our Team in the Nursing home all cordinate and make the best for our patients and residents in the Home.

So teams exist and work well when you can direct and organise them with a positive response and training gives them an opportunity to diversify their experience further in people's lives.

This is my success story and I have failed before becoming a success and my advice to all who will read this is "Plan to succeed" but "Failure to Plan leads to failure to succeed"  It takes grit to succeed in your career and home as the saying goes, "Quitters Never Win, Winners Never Quit"  from the book, think and grow rich by author Nepoleon Hill.

Eversince I have always been working and studying to achieve my levels and there is opportuity when you study, you meet people and grow rich with their knowledge they share with you and you make your mark in the world.  Do your best always and the best comes back to you!
