Try to ask him about his field of work or anything that belongs to him.
You have to show him that you will adopt his ideas in your work and write anything of his words in a small blog you carry with you, so will open the field of discussion with you (In direct meetings).
Identify the pros of your business, company or product, and do not forget to tell him about one of the disadvantages of your business and how to avoid it. This will earn you the trust of the customer.
Tell him that his name will be placed on the list of welcome without an appointment.
This will gain the trust of the potential customer and ease of communication every time.
