As an recruiter, how do you interview a really nervous job candidate?

Some times the some telented job candidate is really very nervous as an recruiter first of all i am giving the glass of  water and talking with soft language then the candidate is feeling comfortable and now i am starting the interview.

Thank you , I agree the above mentioned answers , and adding that I will consider that there are purely external factors that makes the candidates nervous , so I will neglect his felling and carried the interview forward and be fair in my evaluation and assessment to the candidate's performance in the exam and interview.

I will smile at him to ease him down,introduce him to everyone in the room, explain the format of the interview, avoiding negative gestures or body language which might get him more nervous and wouldn't ask him aggressive questions.
