Why do you think that the most recent positions only must be listed in the CV?

Always display the most recent position first and move towards the first one.

I believe that always person get promotion or better jobs, so latest position might be superior in his Career. As well he will have updated experience of the latest job so he can avail the current criteria.

The recent position gives a good impression for, what is your actual function, your authorities and responsibilities, or in other wording if your recent job description is matched with the post required by the employer.

 Since you need to write a short summary for each position with achievements, so if you have15 years of experience or more then you need more than 5 paper to write all your work history

Only recent positions must be listed in your resume as that will lower your long explanations with the interviewer on what your process was in so and so company and so on and so forth. JUST give a gist of what companies you worked for previously and what was your reason of leaving them. Also be particular of company integrity, never portray previous companies in a negative way as that will have a bad impression on your part. Be genuine, confident and humble in discussion of your prior experience.
