I will go with the volunteer work. volunteering gives fresh graduates a real experience of marketplace. I believe that nothing can polish our skills like the real-life situations.

Okay, let's face it unless you are graduated from a very good college with a great profile in adding practical life experience with thier courses, you must get your hand wet with a lot of practical experience on your own. A great way to do this is to tackle some problems and situations while you are working and since every employer needs to hire an already experienced individual, nothing to do but putting yourself in front by volunteering.this is really cool as you can learn a lot about life and work while helping people. in a combination, with volunteering, you should face a lot of things you do not aware of and the perfect solution is to find yourself a place where you can learn it. So, I see that every fresh graduate must use the two pathway together to enhance thier own life and work experience.

Thanks to invite.

Volunteer work is more effective tool than Training Course to prove yourself fit for the job.

I think fresh graduates should be exposed to tasks which are progress from simpler to complex in nature .and it should be guided by a expert staff or an qualified organisation

I will recommend both, because by doing Training Courses you will get some skills which you cannot get easily by doing job. Like Microsoft programs (Excel advance, Words, outlook, power point), Language, writing skills or same like some others. But professional atmosphere is entire different so also i will recommend after graduation if you get a volunteer work, so do it. By doing something you will know tackling others, people behave and attitude and work pressure which you cannot get without doing job and if you or looking job but couldn't find so don't waist time, do volunteer work, it's not volunteer you are gaining experience which is more valuable in a well professional carrier.

Best of luck

Thanks for invitation,

Both, training courses for more skills and professionality, and volunteer work to have more practical experiences with real work's environment.
