Hi,

We have both types of PLCs you refer to on our operation. Basically for me a PLC is a PLC. What I found is that the Schneider software is much more user friendly, and you can monitor the program better than the SIEMENS software. SIEMENS tends to have a more structured way of programming where you have more networks in your ladder logic. But basically it is a retorical question. Some might say that SIEMENS is better. We have many ProfiBus devices and I find it that SIEMENS is more user friendly with it than Schneider, and Modbus is more user friendly than SIEMENS.
