There is no substitute material give you the same gives the same advantages of ordinary concrete in carrying pressure stresses. However, ordinary concrete sections can be reduced using high resistance concrete using some additives such as silica fume or flying ash. that mean reducing cement use. We get resistance up to 900 kg / cm² Thus we can reduce the depth of the concrete sectors But the difficulty of implementation will equal or increase the cost & need high quality control .
