From cars to packaging machines.
it’s a good tool for controlling design, prototype and manufacturing costs.
This can be done using one of the features in inventor (Illogic Rules) by populating data from your MRP system into the piece parts and full assemblies.
In this way the designer can work or try to work within a set budget.
