People whose intelligence is above average do not consider themselves to be particularly smart. They usually immediately realize that they have made a mistake and instead of shifting responsibility for it to others or pretending that everything is fine, they learn from it and do not repeat in the future. Intelligence is the link between the knowledge you have and the solution for a problem.
