My opinion is we can give them nice example with story based and practically.

While teaching language you can also share knowledge with stories , histories , texts , pictures and many other teaching aid . 

I think this was a great idea to share the knowledge cause only teaching makes them boring .so if you tell related stories , related histories , that would be a lot more interesting for them and easy to memorize what you are teaching .

In case any other coincidence happen they will definitely remember  the language you teaching.
