Keep your team focused and task orientated. Break your tasks up into smaller, more manageable tasks and manage it from there. This will reduce the stress load on the team.

Secondly, give recognition where recognition is needed, this will give the team the sense of being important to you and also to be proud on their work that they give you. Reduce pressure by standing up for the team, showing that you support them and assist them when they ask for your help.

This is an everyday challenge. If u r leading a team u need to maintain an optimal equilibrium between demand for performance and constant appreciation. No two people are alike, so they respond to work pressure differently. Encouraging team members to support one another is a good move and most often yeilds positive results. Don't wait for annual or half yearly motivational workshops to energize your team. Don't waste a single moment to appreciate ur team member however small it is. The hormones created in ur body while u r being appreciated sincerely will no doubt increase your efficiency. The members will feel more responsible and will willfully contribute

Employees and workplace productivity is a little like breathing,to maintain level of efficiency and productivity one can consider the following points

1)Improve cultural fit with better recruiting-nabbing employees that does fit your company culture is likely to energize other employees and at the long run it increases efficiency and productivity.

2)Improve employees skills with training-once interviewed,hired and on the job ,training is a crucial part of ensuring productivity and efficiency levels.

3)Encourage autonomy by not micromanaging- the best way to attain efficiency and productivity is to encourage employees to take ownership over how they manage their own time and resources; manage less and get better results.

4)Boost productivity by encouraging self- care- with the aim of combating burnout before it happens, managers have to model self care by showing not just telling employees that you value things like good sleep, work-life balance and taking time for exercise and relaxation.
