Actually I deal with criticism as building new channels with my colleagues. I really appreciate when I receive their criticism as they could have hided it anyway;hence, telling their openions means that they trust you and they feel secure for your response, a thing that you must thank them for. Listen listen, and listen carefully. However, and whatever the amount of self-trust you have, criticism can enlighten a place in your head that you did not look at before.
Listen to what they have to say but choose wisely which are you going to accept. You cannot please everybody in the organization but listening to criticisms somehow resolves any tension that is building up. This would give confidence to your colleagues to speak to you freely should they have any concerns regarding your performance as a team manager and that you are open to any improvement. If criticsms is valid and you can see some room to grow base on it, act immediately and do not forget to thank those who gave their opinions.
It is not the best way because it sometimes leads to hatred and hatred among employees
