Depending on the location of feed nozzle and design product ratios we can see the following
1. Increase in pressure drop of that column section(between draw off trays generally)
2.Relative less draw temperature at that tray and column Ti .Also lower requirement of PA at that tray to maintain temperature.
3.In multicomponent columns like atmospheric, vaccum, coker fractionater columns production or yield of that product increases, while the upper or lower tray products yield decreases, depending on feed entry location.
Flooding in column can be detect by following parameters:
1) Increase in pressure drop of coloumn
2) Loss of Temperature profile within coloumn
3)low level at bottom of coloumn since all the liquid is held by the trays
Flooding in column can be detect by following parameters:
1) Increase in pressure drop of coloumn
2) bottom pressure of coloumn increases
3) bottom temperature of coloumn also increases
