A career objective is extremely essential to write in a CV. To any employer , head hunter or HR , it gives them an insight on whether the job offered is in sync with your career aspirations. It simply suggests a purposeful personality. it enables organizations etc. to determine
1. Your fit for the role and the vice versa and
2. enables the organizations to carve a path for you ( whether through designing KRA's , through training and development ,or giving Higher responsibilities ) that will help you achieve or bring you closer to objectives.
Is to let the employer know who you are and what is your expectation for the company
It's very important to show the real purpose of getting this job from your side....it's easy from that objective to realize what's your personality and your mind and your future pont of view.
And then the judgment will be easy to give you a certain role in the job.....may be you were applying for one and based on your career objective you will get another..
Career Obective indicates your future goals and planning to develop your career along with company after joining the organization. This shows how far you can contribute your knowlwdge to the peopel in the organization.
Hi Salam Assi,
Hope you are doing good!!
Here is my view point towards your question.
A career objective in your CV holds both strategic as well as tactical importance. Strategic for the reason that, career objective for me goes beyond the job aspiration, it communicates one's vision, passion and thought process.
Tactical importance - Motivates the manager/leader to read through your resume.Gives an indication about the position you are applying for, Gives leader fair bit of understanding about your core competence.
PLease note - A good resume with a good career objective increases your chances for job interview.
Hope, I answered your question, should you have anymore questions please feel free to connect.
Thanks & Regards,
