Hello everyone, I have recently completed my Masters in Supply Chain Management from a highly ranked university in England. I am planning to take a SAP training course (MM module) in order to boost my job prospects. However I have not worked on SAP before and although I have strong academic knowledge on implementation phases, but do not have hands on experience. Is it a good idea for me to take the MM training course? Any advise would be highly appreciated as taking a SAP course is both costly and time consuming.
i have found it much easier for sap trainee to really know the dynamics of business. for us with SRM,mm, we need to know the procurement processes and action taken.it made it easier to understand the steps required on the SAP menue.
i believe experienced professional will find it much easier and more intersting .
SAP cousre are essentail in the modern business but l would recommend that people should seek an indept knoweledge of the field that in alinged to the SAP course. These course are designed in such a way that they assume that either the person is a professional int he field or has hands on experience in the field. for example the SAP ERP PM (maintenance order process) will be difficult for a person without plant maintenance experience.
