Should graduates or people with low experience take SAP training courses?

Hello everyone, I have recently completed my Masters in Supply Chain Management from a highly ranked university in England. I am planning to take a SAP training course (MM module) in order to boost my job prospects. However I have not worked on SAP before and although I have strong academic knowledge on implementation phases, but do not have hands on experience. Is it a good idea for me to take the MM training course? Any advise would be highly appreciated as taking a SAP course is both costly and time consuming.

i have found  it much easier for sap trainee to really know the dynamics of business. for us with SRM,mm, we need to know the procurement processes and action taken.it made it easier to understand the steps required on the SAP menue.

i believe experienced professional will find it much easier and more intersting .

SAP material management 6.0 workstation is the best choice for you, However, after completing your training you have to keep practicing as SAP has a lot of commands for you to get familiar with.
Also, at the lectures always keep a notebook and write down each and every command given by the instructors and ask them to install SAP GUI in production mode so you would practice every where as if you are in real-time mode.
Best of Regards, Ahmed

SAP cousre are essentail in the modern business but l would recommend that people should seek an indept knoweledge of the field that in alinged to the SAP course. These course are designed in such a way that they assume that either the person is a professional int he field or has hands on experience in the field. for example the SAP ERP PM (maintenance order process) will be difficult for a person without plant maintenance experience. So it is highly recommended that one gets accustomed into the field before jumping into SAP training

Hi, I am also a supporter of face to face training, this way one can learn more than the online trainings Because online trainings are relatively new.
Also it requires every one to have their own resources (physical and technological) to connect to the online courses.
But I think online courses are more economical to conduct from both customer and user point of view.
Again I think its individual's preference what he/she thinks is the best way by looking their own circumstances.
I hope I have been able to answer your question.
Best Regards.

SAP covers a wide ground and business processes. Freshers will certainly benefit from attending SAP training if they follow the recomended training paths recomended by SAP in each area.
