Do you think that it is wise to leave it to your employees to determine the actions to take to achieve the objectives you have set them?

Yes i do but if the employee knows the goals objectives of the company its easier to plan, strategise together how to go forward as a collective meeting their goals

As a good leader. we must lead our employees but at the same time, provide opportunity for them to contribute their ideas, views, opeinions etc. Monitoring and mentoring is critical so we know they are in the right direction towards achieving the desired objectives.

No. it demands collaborative efforts when setting objectives, measures/ KPI, processes and actions.  objectives, measurements/KPI, processes and actions are discussed well in a balanced scorecard. if you have set your company goal and layout individual obejctives to support it, it is necessary that actions are measured, managed and controlled effectively and efficiently.
