Thanks for invitation,
I do believe that the most efficient training for new employees, is that training course designed to allow them to have a very good picture for all the organization's activities, despite their own specializations, as this type of training courses are giving them the chance to be familiar and well understanding the processes flow for the organization's, its structure, its activities, in addition to the relationship between all its departments as well.
Training differs from company to company, it depends on what kind of company it is and what his tasks and duties will be.
In general with each training your instruction should be based on the lowest entrance level of the students, from there you start to build them untill they are first on the same level, once all are on the same level you take them all towards a higher level.
You have 3 main techniques of instruction
As instructor you have the following to bare in mind, first the lowest start level within your class, and the end goal your students are to reach within the training session.
All 3 techniques can be used withing a training session, evaluation during the session is important, you could based on your evaluation assesment switch between the techniques.
A well experienced instructor sort of "plays" with these techniques, in my eyes though the higher the acceptance level of the student the better your instruction session was, technique 3 is what I prefer to use as much as possible.
The importance of employee training, it’s up to you to set up and conduct an effective training session for the benefit of your business or organization. If the skills acquired from training techniques are used efficiently and effectively, then you can be sure of consistent growth of your business or organization.
The importance of efficient training as per the company policy and to have a set goal so as to carry out training in a proper manner so that the employees will be able to understand the subject of the training. Also it as to be simply with videos and asking question. The best efficient way to do is on the job training which will have a great impact.
Every employee should go through an On Boarding Program , this is about a 5 day program that companies should implement, should include, Policy , Procedures , Product , Code of Conduct , Diversity , on The Job Training ,as the importance of employee training is to retain your employee , for networking purpose which open up the doors of oppurtunity, to make your employee productive from the first day in the office, these effective programs and training session will benefit the business and organization , once employees have gone through training they need to apply the training technique and when used effeiciently . the training should be based on ADULT Learning Principles , where employees get invloved in acitivites , presentations , story telling , quizz , team chanllenges and a high level of student interaction , make training exciting and lesson learnt never to be forgotten these will improve business growth
Training should be designed based on the needs of the employees. Training managers should be able to formulate and conceptualize the training needs. This is the same reason why we have this so-called "training analysis" which should cover what the employees should learn and come up with the training objectives on how and why they should be applied. Training should be based on real-life scenario - less emphasis on those copy-pasted from the web - so they will be able to come up with a better solution (Training outcome) to any issue that they might encounter.
It is important that Trainers should include the company history and organizational structures for new employees.
I am a firm believer of "ON THE JOB TRAINING" is the most effective.
Encourage proactivity, answer all questions, no question is dumb, allow the employee to make decsion and calculated mistake.
Other special intensive classes are important, but nerver as a starter.
In my experience Training can be very different depending on the topic. For me there are very simple procedures to follow each time.
on job training is indespensable
It is necessary to train new employees to aware them about some basic of the organization basic safety training regarding PPE importance at work, Comany policies, Risk assessment, Permit to work system awareness, Fire fighting training and Emergency response plan.
First of all he needsto welcome and recognized in new company. Then tell all the procedures, Do infront of him,now let him show to uswhat he understand then finally we need to give feedback so that he can learn better.
