What about data stored by HR department doesn't it too have a protocol for avoiding misuse.?

My question is legit because of misuse of data issue of facebook which has crept into media recently , every company also store a lot of employee data as such icluding personal data , how is it safeguarded.

If the data is stored through HRIS them you have access control for specific users who handle data. If the data is stored in excel still it can be passcode protected and can be restricted access based on the need

definately there should be a protocal in retrieving and storing of data. information has played an important role in the growth of the organization. the data stored helps organization in decission making. If data is well stored the organization can use to clear staff benefits when they are to the organization
