Retail is a great way to your earning potential and you can achieve results through good persistent effort.

Another way you can achieve your goal:

Work for super markets for experience like ASDA, TESCO and SAINSBURY, also MORRISON they have openings in apprentership training for your trade.  Learning in this way you have an open mind to study and gain the right knowledge through counter service(various counters offer these like Butchery, Fish sales, meal sales examples chicken pieces made by the supermarket and sold to customers.)

Look in the newspapers for any apprentership offers and have a go for them.

I wish you the best of luck and achieve your goal.  It is never too late.....to grow and learn.
