Most of the nasophrangeal carinomas are associated with viral infections. Traditional spices, infact , are beneficial and have got cancre preventive potentials. several has been tested in clinical studies. Curcumin is well known in this regard. Prof. A Gescher and Prof. W Stewart from university of leicester has done extensive work on it.  Similarly ginger, garlic, brassica herbs and many others are useful to reduce cancer risk.

Chewable tobcco, like tobacco in any form, has been the main reason of cancer in eastern community. Smoking has been associated with many types of cancer.

Japanees and chinees do use few particular spices that may be linked to increased risk of cancer.

Moderate eating is one of the best strategy to avoid disease.
