What are the differences between Cast In-situ and Pre-cast concrete for valve stations foundations?

For small and medium size  equipments in pipeline (like valves),concrete foundation is precasted in shop then transferred to put in place on which the valve should be installed.

For larger equipment  (like pig lounchers,large valves and so on), concrete should be poured on to the foudation formwork provided with reinforcment.It is cast in-situ concrete or cast in place concrete.
