Main reasons for people leaving a company are Managers, Low Employee Engagement, and lower salaries than competition. Salaries are considered as Rational Needs and they contribute 30% of Employees Engagement, therefore, we should focus on enhancing employees engagement and educating managers of the importance of their relations with employees. This is a brief answer and could be elaborated in details in real life scenarios
I will talk with everybody who wants to leave the company and find out the reason and their problems. I will find possible solutions and convey to them and choose the best possible solution.
the issue of leaving a lot of employees almost at the same time, i will discuss with them the situation why they wanted to leave . mostly the remunerations packages are the main reason for which employees leaves a job for their better future. in my present circumstances, i deal with this issue and every employee is free to come and discuss their issues, which i discuss with the Chairman and CEO and resolve the issue before quiting their jobs and assures them to get much better benefits for them from the management. And i m successful in this always.
If you have an issue of a lot of employees wanting to leave, then as a manager, it is your duty to figure out the problem and come up with a solution. When something like that happens, this most likely will be an issue for even new coming employees, and should be dealt with. Knowing your staff and what makes them happy is key to being a successful manager.
I will look into the root cause for such a sudden attrition. Such situations mostly arise after annual appraisals and performance reviews. If salary is the reason for people to leave, I will highlight the other value adds that my company is providing in terms of health insurance, flexible working environment and all such non-financial benefits which people do not even consider while switching jobs. At the end of the day, the working environment, flexibility and familiarity with processes & people play a very important role towards job satisfaction.
If the reason is other than salary then i will address the root cause and ensure the problems are fixed which are causing the attritions at this level.

The first question that should be asked is, why are they leaving? Is it retirement, job insecurity, competitors approaching them or the answer that most employers don't want to hear "your a toxic employer"
MOST OF THE PEOPLE LEAVING A COMPANY UNDER CERTAIN CONDITION BECUSE OF LOW SALARIES AS COMPARED TO THE WORK OR THEAR REQUARMENT OR OFFICE ENVIORMENTAL CONDITION ARE NOT favorable ACCOURDING TO THEM
FIRST OF ALL I FINDE THE REGION BEHIND THE LEAVING THEN I TRY TO WORK ON IT AND DO MY BEST WHAT CAN I DO FOR THE PROFIT OF THE COMPANY AND THE COMPANY PEOPLE
Fire the CEO!

We have to stand on the root cause of this high attrition rate by analyzing the reasons which are written in the exit interview of each employee then start to set a plan to fix the major reasons at first, either its related to salaries; working hours; career path; vacations; work environment, or bad managemet or any other reasons. then send a survey application to the current employees every quarter to measure their satisfaction towrds any improvement in the above mentioned reasons.
