First you need to know the range of the diiferential pressure you need to measure. If for example it is 100 kPa, you apply 100 kPa on the "High pressure" side of the DP cell, while the "Low pressure" side is open to atmosphere, by means of a hand pump or dead weight tester. Depending on the type of DP cell you then have to either push the "Span" or "Range" button on the DP cell, or you have to connect some type of hand held calibrator to the DP cell, and find the calibration menu to set the Span or Range.
