Here are some tips for creating a system that will help identify sales leads in small business:

1. Identify Your Target Audience

2. Pick Your Promotional Methods Wisely (For Example: website, a blog, social media, speaking engagements, industry events, current customer referrals, pay per click (PPC) advertising, and traditional advertising.)

3. Create a Sales Funnel (For Example: free gift, a coupon, a sample or some other value-added incentive)

4. Use an Email Newsletter to Build Relationships (For Example:email marketing)

5. Leverage Social Media to Connect and Engage (For Example: Facebook page, Twitter profile, LinkedIn company page, Pinterest account or a YouTube page)

Relate to the target market. By relating you will be able to identify what really is needed by your audience. Selling to someone is just like asking for a relationship with that someone. This fosters repeat business at the end of it all.
