In avery brief and precise wording,

Banking: means transactions between any individual, organization or government with a bank; depositing, withdrawing funds, or requesting a loan etc.

Whereas, finance : is a commercial activity of providing funds and capital, in a form of money or other liquid resources to a government, business, group, or individual.
