Finance, on the other hand, is the efficient and productive management of assets and liabilities based on existing information. Finance is the study of money and capital markets which deals with many of the topics covered in macro economics. It is the management and control of assets and investments, which focuses on the decisions of individual, financial and other institutions as they choose securities for their investments portfolios. Also, managerial finance involves the actual management of the firm, as well as profiling and managing project risks.
Accounts is just book keeping and maintenance of accounting transactions and presentation of financial statements. It is basic while finance also stand for Credit
While Finance is much wider term which covers cost control, business development and business intelligence and remediation of management structure. So obviously career in Finance is an excellent career such as CFA, CMA and CPA
In my opinion accounting and finance sure interrelated each function has its importance financial, costing, and management accounting provide the required information which will be the basic to take any decision for get the finance to the organization.
