Which one is most effective, applying to a job via email or go to the work position?

You have to follow whats in the vacancey announcement.

I suggest to do both because both has it's own advantage. As for me, I send my CV through emails more often because living in a modern generation, hiring process has upgraded hence HR management searching applicants online. However, for guarantee, it is also good to distribute physical copy of your CV to companies.
