We have to give more attention to "Talented Employees" via:
1- Care of their career path.
2- Covering their training gaps.
3- Motivate them.
By giving him enough space to be a creative employee in his field, listening to his opinion about your business matters, trying to give him new difficult tasks to execute within a time frame and above all that supporting him through all available resources and tools. If so then expect to have a new leader for your firm.
Appointed Task & Responsibilities that will come from management decisions that will give him/ her a priority.
Hello Nadjib,
You can help an employee maximize his potentials by first identifying the competency gaps and the areas that he needs to work on and afterwards place him on a development plan. This will include coaching and mentoring and regular feedbacks, developmental trainings, job enrichment /enlargement which will increase the scope of his job functions and properly engage him to help harness his skills.
I hope this has been helpful.
Best Regards.
