Yes we can avoid & monitor.

It's all depaned on Working, We can not monitor every Employee what he doing. IT Department will monitor all sites, they block the social media i.e Facebook, Twitter & unusage site.

The practical thing to consider is to monitor instead KPI's...the work output.

That's the bottom-line.

If the set targets, goals and expectations are getting achieved or exceeded, there's not much significance on monitoring such micro-management points unless there is a critical threat that compromises company's interest.
