Never. Technology is a tool. The computer is a dumb machine that can do anything.

Be careful, it can do anything because there is a brain with knowledge and experience that operate this machine and explore this technology.

Technology can measure KPIs, and record success of Mr. X who is better than Mr. Y, but at the end there is a lot of other factors that can not be measured by technology to decide on succession planning.

The chosen new leader who is going to succed some of his performance can be measured and scaled by technology, but some good chunck of the leader to be can not be measured byt technology and has to be decided by decision makers...

I definitely believe it is.  Business is still business, but technnology-based Marketing tools are becoming larger forces.  Whether it be understandingn CRM, Digital Marketing, Social Media you should be taking technological competence into account.

Nowdays, technology is a major influencer in all the aspect of our life, this means that we arent able to do a perfect acheivement without the use of it, sometimes directly and/or indirectly.

To be more specific, in terms of succession planning, we will need to depend on the previous data such as old evaluations and analysis models, and here exactley will appear the actual need for technology!

Thanks.
