There are a lot of lab tech jobs. The medical and research fields hire a lot of people especially in a support capacity (Lab tech, Assistant Lab Tech.s, Lab Interns). Plus all hospitals and clinics need lab technicians. Going on google and typing lab tech or lab technician will bring up tons of options in Dubai.

If you want to get a lab tech job. It depends on how you're doing it. Apply first (always a leg up). Contact temp agencies and clinics. Get aggressive making calls and applying on all the jobs listing websites that have Lab Tech. jobs.

Also if you are having trouble searching, try to use: Lab Tech; Lab Technician Lab; Senior Lab Technician; Medical Lab Technician; Lab Technician (Part-Time); Laboratory Technician

This can be explained with the help of Demand supply theory of Economics. The typical ratio of candidate:vacancy in Lab technology is almost 1000:1 or more. There are ample number of Expat candidates available in Dubai with a DHA eligibility letter ready to start from bare minimum salary package. HR Managers prefer to hire them as that saves cost & time at the same time. Hope this clears your doubt.

I think that the medical sector is developing rapidly thus I think the opportunity for the med lab tech will increase in the future.
