What methods did you use or would use to raise funds for your startup?
The pitch is the tool startups use to communicate directly to potential investors and present to them the most convincing arguments why they should invest in their startup. The pitch usually is set for 20 to 30 minutes. It contains the most critical things about the original long presentation. When I did my first pitch back in California, I and my team (total of three) had to build a sizable presentation that contained the idea, where it came from, why it is important to create the product we were discussing, what the financials and ROI looked like … all the way to what would happen if we did not build the product. When the time came to do the pitch in front of all the available investors, we had to take the most critical and influential sections of the presentation (especially the ones about the financials) and put them into a presentation that lasts only 30 minutes maximum. The pitch is the key to the investment; the better and more convincing it is, the more probable the investment will take place.
