His previous work history can explain how potential this assistant is. If he/she is from your company then it is easy to understand and if out of company then a trial period ahould be given based on his/her experience. Because a cv can explain what he/she but to check potential we should give a chance to proof practically.

  • Education
  • Personality
  • Presentation

each one of these paramiters will indecate to you his stability, willingless, enthusiasim, ability to adopt, fast learner etc...

the only way to findout these things is through:

  • interview which will provide 50%
  • Probation period is the other 50%

Mind you that Gender is not an issue at all times.
