Developing a website using CMS, has many positive aspects to it:

  1. Easier to build, easier to learn.
  2. Faster development and deployment, where some hosting providers have the CMS pre-installed on their servers.
  3. Looks more professional
  4. Has more support
  5. Has more security
  6. Availability for trained personnel

As long as you are programming a general function website, not a specific functionality website, CMS is your friend, imagine the financial savings alone.

Programmers aren’t scared to build a website without using a Content Management System (CMS) like Drupal or Wordpress. They just aren’t stupid enough to do it. If I were to start development on a website from scratch, without using a CMS I would first have to write a login system to ensure that only authorized people had access to the site’s administration interface. I would have to write systems to sanitize input from anonymous users who are commenting or filling out forms.

Basically, I would have to spend years to build what other people have already spent years to build. Why reinvent the wheel?

WordPress is a great starting point for hobbyists, power users, designers who are eager to tinker with code, copy snippets off various tutorials, and try to adjust some bits here and there.

* WordPress is a reliable platform.

* WordPress is a proven CMS that works for both small businesses, and large, high-scale applications.

*Building WordPress SaaS platforms is not hard.

* Bottom line, some service providers are not developers. They sell WordPress solutions without being able to launch something from scratch.

* Some are simply bored to death from rebuilding the same core framework over and over again. WordPress covers the basics and you take care of the rest.

* Clients often ask for WordPress due to its numerous perks. Lack of vendor lock-in is important, and the same goes for some quick shortcuts in the form of available plugins.

Actually, Programmers are not stupid but smart enough in this case. Because Wordpress or Drupal CMS has all available features for a simple website. So, They don't need to rebuild those from scratch.

If you required simple website with no complex functionality then wordpress or drupal will be the best option because everything is readymade there.Using this we make site in low cost and in less time which give benefit to developer as well as client.Instead of making this simple site in dot net, java etc from scratch which required much time and cost.
