Which is better? Or which one do you prefer to use?
Adobe Premiere Pro CC has a latest tools and updates; so Adobe Systems deserves to win..
there is no comparison. FC wins! though I agree with above comments that its only Mac but still it has lots of feature which premier doesn't even have... even yet!
Secondly there is one more tool it has some really good features in terms of ease of control and other features, its called Edius ... you can check that too.
i'm more familiar with Adobe Premiere
Well I will go with Final Cut Pro but since Apple stopped producing it anylonger so most editors will have to revert to (X) which is what make adobe better at this point cause they never stop enhancing their programs plus the never ending plugins which gets produced and dedicated to their packages every day. Also Final Cut is only and exclusively dedicated MAC OS only so other OS users can't use it at all while adobe works on all OS systems available which is why I use it's products instead of Apple even though I know that Apple is better but with the3rd party plugins available for adobe softwares they compensate me for the missing parts which makes me give them (thumbs up).
So I'd say that now Adobe wins and if Apple won't start finding a better option they'll lose forever to Adobe.
Eventhough I'm more familiar with FC, I'll vote for Adobe Premier because it will run in either MAC or Win platform which FC is only for MAC. Better is always to have those tools at your disposal...
Adobe Premiere
- More features since the downgrade of Final Cut (to version X)
- CC has a community around it that is growing faster than Apple could catch up to. Adobe already has a well recognized presence on iOS.
I am an editor and I do not use any of these solutions but from a market perspective FinalCut pro used to be the way to go. When Apple launched the X version many people hated it and went back to redescover Adobe Premiere. The surprise was that it had been completely redesigned and it was now considered professional level.
As you know, Apple covers several business areas. At any moment they might go crazy and decide to discard the professional segment market(there were rumours about it). I would prefer to trust Adobe right now because the company lives exclusively from professional software, meaning they cannot afford the luxury of letting down their customers.
Just a point of view...
